A team of fluxers has been working on the implementation of Apple Pay in the Banco Galicia app, adding a new contactless payment method for the bank’s customer community. The new system allows users to make payments through iPhone or Apple Watch using Galicia Visa or Martercard.

The project involved adapting the platform to incorporate cards as well as adhesions on Apple Wallet, integrating cards into the E-wallet. Thus, the bank enables the use of Apple Pay from both the Galicia app and Apple Wallet, providing a fast and secure payment experience and avoiding the use of cards, cash and payment terminals.

Over the next few weeks our team will keep working to evolve the new functionality for those who choose this payment method, which is quickly gaining ground.
